Moving Sale!

In preparation for our impending move to Miami in 3 weeks, Ryan and I had a moving sale this past weekend. Everything in our hallway, living room, and lanai had little price tags on it. For 2 days, we sat in the apartment and waited for people to come through our apartment and buy our mounds of shit that we have somehow accumulated over the last 3 years.

The whole moving sale thing is so weird. Random people come into your place and buy your USED items. Bits and pieces of our life are now dispersed in random homes all over Hawaii. People we don't even know, have our things in their home. So odd to me.

But I have to say, getting rid of clutter is so freeing. We sold so many items that were just clogging up our apartment -- things we don't even need on a daily basis. We made over $4oo and I don't even know what the hell we sold!

In any event, the moving sale was a success and the Miami-moving-process has begun. The only issue -- the items that didn't sell still have little price tags on them and we haven't bothered to take them off. Ahhh, the joys of moving. And this is only the beginning....
