Bag, Borrow or Steal

For those of you that know me, you know that when it comes to handbags, I am a label whore. I don't deny it and I clearly don't try to hide it (especially when I am flashing around my LV).

Well, I came across something quite incredible this morning. There is a company called Bag, Borrow or Steal and it allows you to borrow designer handbags for as long as you want!!! For a small fee of course.....

The monthly fee ranges from $15/month to $175/month, depending upon which type of bags you want to borrow. There are 4 categories at 4 different monthly price points:

1. The Trendsetter @ $15/month gets you bags like Dooney & Bourke, BCBG and Nicole Miller.

2. The Princess @ $40/month gets you bags like Coach, Juicy, Kooba, Botkier and Michael by Michael Kors.

3. The Diva @ $90/month gets you bags like Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Burberry, Chanel and Hermes.

4. And then there is The Couture section at $170/month which is the best of da best. Prada, Fendi, Chanel Gucci -- the runway, top collections.

There is some overlap between categories, since all companies have lower priced and higher priced bags on all fronts. But overall, I do think this is a really cool idea. Some people just don't have $2,000 to lay out for a new bag, and this is a really fun way to have ALL different kinds of bags every month. I clearly think The Couture collection at $170/month is a little ridiculous -- because after 6 months of payment you could own your very own fabulous bag. And after all, owning is MUCH better than renting. But until then, why not have a litte fun?
