A New Post (finally)

Ooooooook -- haven't posted in a mightly long time -- due to moving across the country yet again, the annual meetings work thing, the company party thing, and then doing Xmas in Maui yet again. But now I am back in Honolulu and doing the searching-for-a-home-again thing -- and like every time before, it sucks ass just the same. Will looking for a home ever be fun and dandy? I think not.

But this post is particularly for Ish & Kels -- for busting my balls for not posting in over 2 weeks, and to a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to them both (yes, the married couple who has birthdays 2 days apart). We had a great night with you guys -- thanks for another reminiscent dinner at Mediterraneo (I fully botched that spelling after 4 glasses of wine...) and for the wine back at your place post-dinner. And here is to the one of the good things about Honolulu -- coming back to old friends ;)

Friday Night Stars

Well, it's my last weekend in Miami, so of course I had to go out last night. We went to the FAB Italian restaurant Escopazzo on Washington and then to, none other than, Mansion. We had a great table on the balcony -- the perfect view to watch the Wyclef Jean live performance at around 2am. Honestly, it was ok...wasn't super impressed -- The Fugees just need to make some great music together again. Shakira was in the house as well, so of course Wyclef sang his portion of "Hips Don't Lie" but Shakira didn't join him on stage.

I also hear Paris and Stavros are in town this weekend. Rumors have it that they were at Ink before the danced the night away at Mokai. Maybe I will see them somewhere tonight if I make it out again...

Miami Sighting

Just saw Rod Stewart walking in South Beach, on 1st and Collins. I assume he just finished having dinner at either Prime 112 or Nemo and that he was walking back to his apartment, which is in my 'hood. I, of course, was looking like ass in ripped jeans, no makeup and my glasses (grabbing food to-go at my local pizza place) but I don't think he cared....

Hey, you...

So my friend got a text from a good male friend the other day, and the text started by saying, "Hey, you...." When she read that "hey, you" she thought that he was flirting with her. I said that I don't think that is flirty at all, so we asked the other people around us for their opinion.

Half of the group said YES, that "hey, you..." is in fact flirty, whereas if he just saying "hey sweetie" that would have actually been more platonic.

This whole thing confuses the shit out of me, but I wanted to hear what everyone else thought. Do you think that "Hey, you..." is more flirty than not?!

Looking Good!

Nick Lachey sang the National Anthem last week at the Ravens/Bengals game -- and WOW, he looks so hot! Looks like Vanessa is doing him good.....

Bimbo Summit

The New York Post has joined the tabloid forces and plastered the pics of Paris, Brit and La Lohan on their front page. But the best part is what they slapped as the caption -- this has GOT to be my favorite headline of the week by far.

Angelina in Vogue

Look at Angelina in the January Vogue. She is just SO SEXY. She is so sexy that she can make dirty tattoos look gorgeous. I am seriously obsessed with her.

A Few More NYC Sightings

I had two more sightings on Saturday in NYC....

Kathleen Turner having brunch at Cafe Luxembourg on the Upper West side. She was with a good ooking, younger man whom I didn't recognize. She looked decent -- her face seems to have swelled or something over the years, but her skin looked good.

The 2nd one was Ethan Hawk, Saturday night around 8pm at Cafe Cluny in the West Village. His friend came in first, they took a look around and then left.
