NYC Sighting
My best friend Michele just saw Jared Leto walking on 3rd Avenue (near 30th Street). She said he looked SO HOT. She came back to the apartment having a near nervous breakdown because he winked at her...

I am having one of those magical weeks in NYC. The thing is, with this city, you can have a GREAT week, or the shittest week of your life. I am having the first, not the latter,
Last night, Ryan and I went up to the Upper East Side to hang with my best friend Courtney and her boyfriend Ali. We went to go see their new place on 75th and 3rd before dinner. We get there, took a tour of the place (tours of apartments in NYC are 2 minutes long...) and then had some wine before we left for dinner. After some chit chatting and some good wine, we walked over to Atlantic Grill for dinner. We had a GREAT table in the middle of the restaurant and each seat had prime people watching capabilities, which is a MUST in the city. After some fabulous raw bar, some more good wine and some more fabulous food, we went back to their apartment to drink some more and just hang out. It was just one of those nights, where all the stars were aligned and everything was perfect. After too much wine, we crashed on their sofa and called it a night.
Today was another great day for me as well. I met my friend Heather in Soho for lunch, at a cute little trendy Thai place called Cafestasia. Super yummy and too cheap for New York, I was confused about how cheap it was.
After lunch, I went over to my friend's showroom in Soho. Basically she has a huge studio full of clothes, and then buyers come to her showroom and pick out clothes that they want to buy for their clothing stores. So she has all these "sample" clothes just lying around -- so I went and got me some FREE clothes. So fun! And nothing is better than free clothes.
Now I am getting ready for a big dinner in the East Village with all our friends.....
More to come tomorrow...!
OK, I am REALLY sorry about not posting but I was in NJ for 5 days for the holidays and now I am in NYC for another 5 days visiting friends (yes, I have received your nasty messages about not posting...).
The trip has been GREAT so far. Been seeing tons of friends, spent some great quality time with my family, and I have been eating like a champion.
We got to NYC last night. We have dinner at our favorite upscale Chinese restaurant with friends, then I met up with my friend Josh and his girlfriend for some wine. I had a fabulous lunch today at Nobu with my good friend Robert.
I have lots more to report but I am on the way out to dinner with friends at Atlantic Grill -- my favorite seafood restuarant in the city....
As far as I am concerned, Tom and Katie had a few poorly dressed wedding guests. There is definitely some etiquette one is supposed to follow when attending a wedding, and these people did not follow the rules.
Is JLo wearing white?! What is wrong with her? You don't wear white or ivory or anything of the sort to someone else's wedding. Fine, it might not be true white, but its close enough and it's just wrong.
Do I even need to comment on Posh's hat? It's just wrong in so many ways.
So, my VERY good friend hung out with Kevin Federline on Friday night at Mansion. I know, WHY?
Anyhow, he said that K-Fed is actually a pretty cool guy and that by the end of the night, he actually felt bad for him. He was saying how much he loves his kids and how much he misses him.
Then, in his drunken stupor, my friend did talk to him about the mysterious sex scandal tape, and K-Fed said that he would never do something like that to his children's mother and that the whole thing is made up by the media.
So, that's the K-Fed scoop!!
UGH, the grossest man alive, Kevin Federline, has been spotted in Miami. I can't believe I am even within a 20-block radius of this douchebag. Anyway, he was spotted yesterday and now I hear he is hosting the party at Mansion on Friday night. So although I hit Mansion every single weekend, I will not be going there tomorrow night. Oh and so funny, guess who is joining K-fed at Mansion? Biz Markie is spinning! haha.
Aside from the fact that I turned 27 on Sunday, and that I am now officially pushing 30, there is something that happened to me today that made me realize I am getting old.
So, I was watching Laguna Beach today -- the maraton on MTV. Now, I think all the high school boys on the show are ugly and geeky, so I barely pay attention to the male species while watching the show, yet today something caught my eye -- a male. And guess what? It was one of the girls' DADS!
Yup, it's official, I am getting old....
I don't know about anyone else, but I am super excited about the new show Dirt that is going to premiere on FX this January!
Courteney Cox will be playing the editor of a trashy celeb magazine (and may I just add that she is looking FAB these days!).
Anyhow, I keep seeing the plugs for this new show every week when I watch Nip/Tuck -- and I am just SO excited for this show to start.
Honestly, I have NO IDEA if this is real or not, but if it is, then this is SO GROSS!
The girl on the left asks, "Is this going to take long?" -- and now we know WHY she asked that!!

Here is a pic of Ashlee and La Lohan from a party this Thursday. Doesn't it look like Ashlee's nose is back to how it was pre-surgery? It's back to being pointy and turned down....
Now look at these pics from when she first got the surgery done. Her nose is like little and cute. It changed so much already!
I can't quite call this entry a "Weekend Recap" because my entire weekend consisted of one night only.
We started out at the re-launch opening party for the Sanctuary Hotel. We stepped out of the cab and there were video cameras all over. They filmed us getting out of the cab, walking into the hotel, getting drinks and hanging out. I felt like La Lohan and I was loving every second of it. It was open bar and free appetizers from 8pm until midnight, and at $15 a drink, that is huge here in Miami.
After Sanctuary we, of course, went over to Social Miami at the Sagamore Hotel and got ourselves a table. We had some appetizers and some more drinks, then roamed around the Sagamore for a little while.
Around 2:00am, we went over to Prive where we sat in our same table as every other Friday night. We had a bottle of champagne and a bottle of vodka for 6 people -- both were gone by 4am.
And such is another weekend in this crazy Miami town. My 7 girlies get here this Thursday to help me celebrate my 27th (gasp!) birthday -- so this weekend will prove to be crazier than any prior weekend. Not sure my body can handle this anymore...
Hey everyone -- sorry for being so MIA. I took a little trip back up to the Northeast for numerous reasons. I originally had a trip planned to go to see my sister, but then some unexpected things happened and things kinda got changed around. I still did go to DC last Thursday, then we went to NYC for a few days, and then I had to go to New Jersey for a whopping 5 days. My stepdad had a double bypass and a heart valve replacement on Monday, so I extended my trip so I could be there for him and my mom (who was, of course, a nervous wreck). I am happy to report that everything went really well, and although he is still in the hospital, and will most likely be there all weekend, he is doing well.
I was just happy that I am living in Miami right now, and not Hawaii, because I would normally never have been able to go home.
So, I am back and I promise to blog my butt off to make up for my absence!
